Welcome to District 5 Alcoholics Anonymous

I am responsible, when anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help,. I want the hand of AA always to be there, and for that... I am responsible

If you’re reading this, then there’s a good chance that you or someone you know is suffering from the disease of alcoholism. We’re here to help.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.  A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

About Us

Overcoming Alcoholism Since 1935

WE, OF Alcoholics Anonymous, are millions of men and women who have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body. To show other alcoholics precisely how we have recovered is our main purpose.

Alcoholism can be a vicious circle and can spiral into a lonely and alienating time. The root of Alcoholism varies from person to person, but the journey towards a better path is possible when you have support around you.

At Alcoholics Anonymous we know and understand Alcoholism, and are here to help you take the first step on the road to recovery. Alcoholism is a battle you can’t fight on your own and you don't have to. You are not alone.

Dr. Bob S. (Co-Founder)

"If you still think you are strong enough to beat the game alone, that is your affair. But if you really and truly want to quit drinking liquor for good and all, and sincerely feel that you must have some help, we know that we have an answer for you. It never fails, if you go about it with one half the zeal you have been in the habit of showing when you were getting another drink.
Your Heavenly Father will never let you down!"
